IREMIT Australia Writes To Their Customers To Ensure The Survival of Australian Remittance Service Providers

The following is the actual letter sent to me by IREMIT

To our Valued Customers,

We trust you read this note in good health.

We are writing in reference to the on-going round of petitions for Australian banks to keep the accounts of Filipino remittance companies open. We are happy to inform you that we have joined the Australia Remittance and Currency Providers Association (ARCPA) in order to pursue this common objective.
You will also be pleased to note that back home in Manila, IREMIT is in the forefront of involving the Philippine government on the same issue.

We have initiated the mobilization of the Association of Bank Remittance Officers (ABROI) and the Association of Private Remittance Service Companies (APPRISE) in appealing for the assistance of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) so that a strong government to government representation can be secured at the earliest. The BSP has now called for a conference with ABROI and APPRISE to discuss this.

We assure you that IREMIT is committed to serve the remittance needs of overseas Filipinos in recognition of your important contribution to our nation and the patrimony of our future generations.

In this regard, we request your support to ensure the success of ARCPA efforts to lobby the Australian government. Please go online at The Facebook site is also up and running: for your active involvement.

Meantime, you may continue to visit our offices as well as Iremit Direct Online for your money transfer requirements.
